Nothing better than some help from the family!

To bad they don't get to stay at the Hilton, here's Jeff's Bed after the 3rd night...

But they do get to eat pistachio pudding!

It's unbelievable how fast the addition went up...

Sunday clean up.

Thanks again to Ben & Jeff for all their hard work. It truly is amazing how much work they did for us...a month's worth of work for us - done in one week! And so much fun to have them here too! Thanks guys!

A little backed up...on the photos, that is.

Well now, Ben Sr. & Jeff have been here for two days. They arrived after the long uneventful drive from Winnipeg on Friday night (March 14), then started early Saturday morning. So far, in two days they've accomplished what would take Ben and I two weeks! Needless to say, we are very happy to have them here to help us out. I haven't taken a lot of photos of their work, but here's what I got dating back to March 9th...

Clearing Out

Here's the "before" shot of the back yard...it was an unruly jungle. What's hard to see in this photo is all the garden trellis, which at some point was a very organized garden. All the shrubbery has grown from seed.

Yikes, now we can see the neighbours! New fence...next summer perhaps. At least we can get an excavator back there now.

Can anyone identify this plant?

Yep, another weird thing. This dog house isn't big enough for a squirrel.

Ben has been hiding in the attic...makin' beams in tiny places.

Popcorn anyone?

Look at her now!

The Little One is just so darn cute. She likes to pick out a toy every now and then.

9 Days Later

OK, so I'm a little late posting these photos. I've been a little busy.

3.89 tonnes

What Ben found behind the lazy suzan (see below for close-ups)...

Shake'n Bake (expires 1973), garlic clove (actually still in the box), and a can of condensed tomato soup. Yum.

Wasp nest found in the exterior wall.

CLOSE-UP!

More plaster removal.

And, yes...more plaster removal.
