We knew there was hardwood underneath, and we knew it was going to be in decent condition in the living room and dining room. That orange shag has been covering it for at least 25 years. The hardwood in the bedrooms is a little worn.
I think you should leave the hardwoods too! They look good...i'll be out March 12, so will have to come by to see what trouble Ben squared and Jeff get into!!!

Keep the hardwood - just re-finish it. At least then you're keeping SOMETHING of the original house.
Keep it and refinish it Nei! More environmental and save some money!
